800℃ Thermal Insulation Materials / 600g 0.7mm High Silica Cloth
High Silica cloth is a high performance fabric which is comprised of high purity and high strength silica fibers woven into a strong, flexible fabric. This fabric is designed to use where severe temperature conditions exist. SiO2 content of this fabric is more than 96%.
The production process of high Silica cloth provides improved abrasion resistance against traditional silica fabrics and will not burn, rot, mildew or deteriorate and resist most acids. It can keep in good state when it works at 1000°C for a long time.
The common thicknesses Unionfull produce are 0.7mm and 1.3mm. For this style JT8600B-70-914, 600g 0.7mm high silica cloth, the melting point is close to 1300 degree. It can withstand a high temperature below 800℃ continuously. What's more, it is able to resisting instantaneous temperature of 1300℃. It is an ideal high temperature insulation materials with great features of thermal insulation, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance.
Weave pattern of this high silica cloth we produce is satin. This 600gsm 0.7mm high silica cloth is 8HS satin weave. In this satin weave, there is a seven-by-one interfacing where a weft/filling yarn floats over seven warp yarns and under one. Satin weave is more stable than plain.
Fiberglass fabric is developed to take place of asbestos fabric which is usually used for welding and hot work protection. For these work places, thermal insulation, heavy protection and molten metal splash shield is necessary. High silica cloth performs especially well in fiberglass fabric because of its surface post treatment. Silica cloth can keep flexible after exposure to high temperature.
