0.7mm 600gsm Fire Resistant Fiberglass Fabric High Silica Cloth
Fiberglass high silica cloth is made of high purity, high strength amorphous silica fibers, woven into a strong but flexible fabric. It is a kind of inorganic fibre fabric with the content of silica (SiO2) which is more than 96%. The softening point of this silica fabric is close to 1300℃. Be able to withstand continuous temperature of 800 degree Celsius and most significantly, the instantaneous temperature of 1200 degree Celsius. It is an ideal high temperature materials for thermal insulation and heat protection. It will not burn, rot, mildew or deteriorate and anti most chemical acids.
Structure of this high silica cloth is 8HS satin weave. Satin weave is more stable than the plain weave and is easier to conform to curved surfaces typical in reinforced plastics. In this weave pattern eight harness satin, there is a seven-by-one interfacing where a filling yarn floats over seven warp yarns and under one.
