Acrylic Coated Fiberglass Fire Blanket Materials Red 0.45mm Welding Protection
In order to meet special purpose and to increase some idiosyncrasy, fiberglass fabric can be treated in various ways with different compounds. Based on different heat resistance ability and special properties, they are applied in a wide range of work condition and industrial fields. Acrylic coated glass fabric is a fibreglass base fabric which has been coated with specially formulated acrylic compound. It provides better abrasion puncture and tear resistance to base fibre glass cloth.
Basic high strength 100% fiber glass cloth without asbestos is woven in cross twill weave. It is weighed at 430g/m2 and coated with 30gsm red color acrylic on two sides. Total weight of the coated glass fabric is 490g/m2. Width 1000mm is the most common one. Noninflammable woven glass cloth is an ideal material for thermal insulation, it can withstand heat below 550℃ continuously. Acrylic coating is able to withstand 260℃ heat.
Except for thermal barrier insulation, Acrylic coating fiberglass fabric is also abrasion resistant, chemical agents resistant and electrical insulation. This welding fabrics are used in industries fields such as shipbuilding, power generation, chemical processing, and oil & gas.
