Nomex fabric is meta Aramid fabric which is fire retardant or mainly abrasion resistant. It is woven in ripstop and very high tensile strength. This 210gsm fabric can be navy blue, black, orange and green color. This textile fabric is soft and flexible. Because it is also has great breathability and heat resistance, this fabric is widely used for uniform like work vest and police jacket.

When exposed to heat and flame, the cloth undergoes a special reaction and changes features to capture more energy, which provides an extra seconds protection for the officers. With stable chemical and physical property, the thermal shrinkage is low as about 1%. It can withstand heat under 250℃. What's more, Nomex fabric is anti chemical agents and weather, corrosion.

Police officers are possibly exposed to threats like flash fires and explosions. Nomex fabric can improve the final uniforms with intense heat and flames resistance, which is very important.
