Nomex fabric is a fire retardant and abrasion resistant meta Aramid fabric which is woven in ripstop weave. This high tensile strength cloth is weighed at 210g/m2. Color can be navy blue, black, orange and green color. Standard width is 155cm / 61 inches wide. This woven fabric is soft but flexible. With great breathability and heat resistance, this fabric is mainly used for work vest and jacket. 

Nomex is a heat and flame resistant fiber that reacts in a crisis. When exposed to heat, this fabric undergoes a special reaction and changes its properties to capture more energy. That gives a extra seconds protection for the officers which is very significant. With stable chemical property, its thermal shrinkage is low to 1%. It can maintain stable under 250℃ heat continuously. Besides, Nomex fabric is anti chemical agents and tear resistant.

Police officers are exposed to more threats, including flash fires and explosions. Nomex fabric can improve the final uniforms with intense heat and flames resistance.
