Basic cloth of white PU coated fiberglass cloth is 600g/m2 e-glass fiber glass fabric. It was coated with 100g/m2 white polyurethane on two sides. So total weight of this coated fiberglass fabric is 800g/m2. Fiberglass fabric is a great high strength fabric for fire and welding blanket. And usually it will be coated with different to meed different demands.

 

PU coating is usually able to withstand a temperature below 260℃. But for short time contact,  PU coating can resist a temperature up to 1100 degree Celsius instantaneously. So it is widely used for welding blanket for splash/sparks protection. Coated fiberglass fabric also have excellent properties like anti chemical strong acid, tear resistant and non itchy.
